To answer that question…. Yes they do, well baby ones anyway. If you are a Bass fisherman/women – we may have found what you have been looking for all along. Who knew, but Bass and other species of fish are known to attack and consume baby turtles. That is why this company has created these Bass Turtles lures.
Some of my best memories of childhood are fishing with my grandparents on George Lake and the Rifle River (Michigan). They owned a cabin in a park area in Lupton, between the lake and river. We had a blast!! When we got a little older, they would let us take the boat out ourselves. It was just a row boat, but there was a certain feel of independence and power for us. But when we got back to the cabin we had to clean our own fish. No worse than having to bait the hook, though (we usually used worms). Answer me this…. does anything taste better than fresh caught fish??
So, be sure you have some of these bass turtle lures in your tacklebox. It may just be your secret for catching the most bass.
Admit it, fishing is fun, but catching fish is even BETTER!!
Another (possibly) unknown fact, Turtles are a natural enemy of bass, as well as other fish (fresh water and saltwater). The turtles favorite meal is fish eggs. Although I doubt they call it caviar LOL. Since adult turtles are most likely too big for the fish to attack, they, in “self-defense” descend on the baby turtles.
You may be wondering how to use the Bass Turtle Lures. It is recommended you use wide or extra wide 3-4 weighted gap hook, regular offset worm hook or straight shank hook will work as well.
The packaging for these lures will give you stet-by-step instructions as to how to use them. Most fishermen/women will have a variety of hooks in their tackle box so, I am sure you will have no problem with these lures.
I have heard it said that “my worst day fishing is better than my best day at work“. However, fishing may be fun, whether you catch fish or not. But admit it you’d rather catch fish than not. So, drop in a Bass Turtles and watch that bobber start to well, bob. Now just start to draw it in. You have a predator in their waters. Let the fun begin!!
